เครื่องวัดความต้านทาน Earth Tester ของเครื่องกราวด์หรือสายดิน คือ มิเตอร์ที่ใช้วัดความต้านทานของดินที่อยู่ระหว่างปลายล่างสุดของแท่งกราวด์ (แท่งทองแดง ยาว1 ถึง 3เมตร) กับจุดความต้านทานของดินเป็นศูนย์ (Rearth = 0Ω Common Ground) ซึ่งอยู่ลึกลงไปใต้แท่งกราวด์ ลึกเท่าไรขึ้นแต่ละสถานที่ตามมาตรฐาน IEC ค่าความต้านทานของแท่นกราวด์สายดิน Rg ควรจะน้อยกว่า 5 Ω
